Celtic fans have been unimpressed by Callum McGregor's poor form over recent weeks.
Celtic fans were less than impressed by the performance of Callum McGregor in their Europa League match against FC Astra last night.
McGregor played for the entire 90 minutes of the clash against the Romanian outfit, but had very little influence and it has led to questions of why Ronny Deila persists with him.
The Celtic academy-prospect was brought into the first-team by Deila earlier on in the season and looked like a potentially excellent player, but his form has tailed off since a blistering start.
A series of indifferent performances have seen him come under pressure and there is a feeling that he should have lost his place in the starting line-up.
Although McGregor is still only 22-years-old, there is an expectation that he needs to be doing more during his time on the pitch and unless he can start raising his performance levels then the criticism looks set to grow.
The youngster tore apart League One last season, whilst on loan at Notts County, but he has found the step-up hard after an initially encouraging start to life in the first-team.
Celtic could have done with McGregor on form, too. On his day, the Scottish winger is a goal-threat and a match-winner, but he could not help them to three points against FC Astra.
In the end the two sides played out a 1-1 draw, with Stefan Johansen scoring the Bhoys' only goal of the match.
Celtic did have the ball in the back of the net late on, but Leigh Griffiths' effort was controversially ruled out.
It means that they are still in a strong position to qualify from their group, but a win would have secured their progress so there is a hint of disappointment about the result.
Here is the best reaction to McGregor's performance on social media site Twitter.

The good: Johansen, Broony, Izzy, Gordon. The bad: Virgil lost his head at the end, Scepovic, McGregor, Wakaso. The ugly: fog #celtic— Matt (@monbud) November 6, 2014
Johansen my motm. McGregor and Scepovic anonymous. Celtic will be disappointed not to have won though, Astra rarely threatened. Thoughts?— ByTheMin Celtic (@ByTheMinCeltic) November 6, 2014
Celtic played well. Can't do anything about a goal like that. Johansen best player and dunno how McGregor played whole match. He was woeful— Joseph Duffy (@Joecelt81) November 6, 2014
Was raving about McGregor earlier in the season but could have a similar Celtic career to the likes of Burchill and Donnelly— pauliebhoy46 (@pauliebhoy46) November 6, 2014
McGregor n Wakaso done nothing again, said at the start they had to step up! No one better coming in though, that's the problem! # Celtic— Stephen Crompton (@StephenC7) November 6, 2014
