Wins for Leeds United and Derby County while AFC Bournemouth could see their lead slip.
This evening and this weekend represent a final chance for Championship sides to improve or consolidate their positions in the league before the third international break so far this season.
Only three points separate first place and the final play-off place in the Championship so Bournemouth could be ousted from their position at the top of the league before the end of the weekend.
At the other end of the table, Birmingham City and Bolton Wanderers both have good chances to step out of the bottom three though Blackpool face one of the most difficult games of the weekend as they go to a Leeds United side hungry for a win.
Here are our Championship predictions for this evening’s and this weekend’s games.
