Three Arsenal stars who are shining out on loan

Arsenal Celebrate

We take a look at three Arsenal players who are excelling during loan spells away from the club.

Arsenal have a plethora of talent currently out on temporary moves away from the Emirates Stadium.

Such is the strength of the club's squad, the Gunners have been able to loan out a number of their top prospects to other clubs.

In this piece, we take a look at three who are excelling during their time away from the North-London club.

Benik Afobe (MK Dons)

The striker has been searching for a home for some time now, after a series of loan spells where he has failed to score with any regularity.

Afobe has had temporary stints at a number of Football League clubs, but never truly become the main-man up-top.

However, he is starring during his time with MK Dons in League One.

Blessed with pace and power, Afobe has already hit the back of the net 13 times and he finally seems to be flourishing as a player.

He is likely to play a key role in MK's promotion push and if he keeps this remarkable scoring record up he may even start to make Arsene Wenger think about his first-team credentials at Arsenal.

Carl Jenkinson (West Ham)

Jenkinson took a while to break into the West Ham United first-team, but he has established himself as a regular now.

The right-back has shone during the Hammers good run of form, as they have climbed to fifth in the table.

At the moment Jenkinson's good form is actually providing direct competition to Arsenal as the Hammers look to be amongst the European contenders this season.

With Calum Chambers struggling and Mathieu Debuchy out injured, Wenger may be regretting his decision to allow the 22-year-old to leave.

Austin Lipman (Boreham Wood)

The youngest of Arsenal's current loan crop, Lipman is an emerging talent who is showing that he has a lot of class.

Despite playing in the Conference South, Lipman has excelled down in the non-league and is proving that he already has the ability to play at a higher level.

A skilful attacking midfielder, he has played a major part in Boreham Wood's success so far, setting up plenty of chances and scoring twice, as they have made it into second position in the table.
