The PS3 and PS4 versions of Grand Theft Auto V have been compared

GTA V next gen screen 19

Rockstar Games have released a new video comparing the old and new versions of GTA V.

This week there's been a fair bit of news surrounding the next gen remastering of Grand Theft Auto V. First there was the first person mode trailer, along with more screenshots, and now Rockstar have released a PS3/PS4 comparison video.

If you're not quite convinced that much has changed from the original GTA V release to the new versions, the video below will probably sway you a little more. It cuts through almost identical scenes comparing the last gen and current gen versions.

The PS4 version is clearly more detailed than its PS3 counterpart. There's more vegetation, improved lighting, shinier cars and enhanced textures. Oh, and the weather effects of the rain at night looks great too.

Check out the video below.

GTA V is set for release on PS4 and Xbox One on 18th November 2014, with the PC version arriving on 27th January 2015.
