Match to be played on Saturday 8th November 2014 at 15:00. Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester.
Chris Smalling’s red card and Marcos Rojo’s injury last weekend has left Manchester United in a bit of a pickle heading into the game against Crystal Palace this weekend.
United are fighting to try and gain some momentum, which will get them into the top six and keep them there for the rest of the season.
However, the team has been plagued by injuries throughout the season and while United will be favourites against Palace, van Gaal is going to have to change key parts of the side yet again.
Palace head into this game looking to pull away from the bottom three and determined to react to a poor performance in the match against Sunderland, which leaves them without Mile Jedinak who is suspended after being sent off during that game.
Palace haven’t won since the victory against Leicester City at the end of September.
Here are the sides van Gaal and Neil Warnock could go with this weekend.
Manchester United: De Gea, Valencia, Carrick, Blackett, Shaw, Blind, Fellaini, Mata, Di Maria, Rooney, Wilson
Crystal Palace: Speroni, Kelly, Dann, Hangeland, Ward, Zaha, Bannan, Ledley, Bolasie, Puncheon, Campbell
