Fabio Coentrao

A round up of news stories this morning about Manchester United.

Several reports this morning have suggested that Manchester United are considering a move for long term target Fabio Coentrao.

The Daily Star has suggested that Real Madrid have put the player up for sale, with United one of the teams reportedly interested.

A £27 million fee has been mentioned in the reports this morning.

The Star also claims a £15 million fee for United target Florian Thuavin from Marseille.

However, Arsenal are also thought to be interested in the attacking midfielder, with Arsene Wenger’s interest in the player widely known.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is reportedly considering a major team change for the game against Crystal Palace.

The Mirror claims the Dutchman is considering dropping Robin Van Persie and drafting James Wilson into the first team.

Van Persie’s lack of form is thought to be the main reason van Gaal is considering the change.
