We rate Manchester City's players from last night's 2-1 defeat to CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.
Joe Hart - 6
One of Manchester City's players who didn't do too much wrong in the match. Hart had little chance with either of Seydou Doumbia's strikes.
Pablo Zabaleta - 5
Arguably the least culpable member of the City backline for the goals conceded. Zabaleta may not have been at his best, but he wasn't as poor as many on the pitch
Vincent Kompany - 4
A poor performance from the City captain, whose faults appear to go unnoticed because of his brilliant form previously. Kompany was caught out of position a number of times and his tendency to dive into challenges can be costly.
Martin Demichelis - 3
The Argentine defender has won over a number of his critics after a good run of form, but this was Demichelis at his worst. His lack of pace was exposed on numerous occasions and he never looked comfortable.
Gael Clichy - 2
If there has been a worse performance from a left-back in the Champions League it would be a shock. Clichy's clearance for CSKA's second goal of the night rather summed up his nightmare evening.
Jesús Navas - 4
Nothing really worked for Navas, who wasted numerous crossing positions. Replaced at half-time.
Fernando - 4
Things haven't worked out for Fernando since he arrived at the Etihad from Porto for £12 million this summer. The midfielder is still adapting to his new team, but this was a poor display in any case.
Yaya Touré - 3
A brilliant free-kick aside, this was another poor performance from Toure. The Ivorian played such a key role for the club last season, but he has looked well off the pace this time around. His lack of discipline towards the end of the match was shocking and he deserved to be sent off.
James Milner - 4
The game passed the England international by. Frustrated by the referee, he never offered much going forward.
Sergio Agüero - 4
Usually such a threat, Aguero barely troubled Igor Akinfeev in the CSKA goal last night. A desperate attempt at a dive in the last minute, which he was booked for, summed his night up.
Stevan Jovetic - 3
Hasn't been the same since suffering with injury. His passing was poor during his time on the pitch and he was hauled off at half-time as a result.
Samir Nasri - 4
Little impact after being brought on at half-time. Lost his discipline towards the end.
Edin Dzeko - 4
Another faltering forward for City, Dzeko barely troubled the Russian side's defence.
Fernandinho - 3
The Brazilian was hugely impressive last year, but he seems to have regressed over the summer. His red card ruined any chance City had of coming back.
