Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D is coming to 3DS in 2015

Majora's Mask 3D

The classic N64 Zelda title joins the list of Zelda greats to be played again on Nintendo’s handheld

During this week’s Nintendo Direct presentation the Big N has revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask will be getting remade for 3DS.

The title - which originally came out for N64 some fourteen years ago - will join Ocarina of Time as a retro Zelda game remade for 3DS. Little information about the game has been given, so we’ll have to wait and see if Nintendo will be adding any additional content in the remake.

Ocarina of Time 3D came with Master Quest and Boss Challenge modes so it’s likely we can expect some extras with Majora’s Mask 3D. Beyond this Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has said work is going into making sure the gameplay runs “as smooth as possible.”

Majora’s Mask 3D has been given a launch window of spring 2015.
