Yesterday we reported on Eurogamer's Digital Foundry analysis of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's frame rate. Namely it's performance during the single player campaign mode. As pointed out by some of our readers (thanks, guys) , there are also some multiplayer analysis videos.
Digital Foundry studied the frame rates of the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Advanced Warfare during some multiplayer matches, and the PS4 version appears to perform quite a bit better than it did in single player.
The Xbox One frame rate test video is below. The Xbox One's resolution is locked at 1360x1080 during multiplayer, and appears to run a fairly consistent 60fps.
Have a look at the PS4 test below. Running at full 1080p, just like in the single player mode, the PS4 is also performing at 60fps almost constantly.
In comparison to the single player, the PS4 comes out on top in multiplayer, simply for the fact it's running at a higher resolution than the Xbox One. Either way, there isn't much difference between the two console versions, so it's down to preference of console if you're using this analysis to decide which to buy for.
