Berahino reacts on Twitter to England call-up - congratulated by West Brom team-mates

The Baggies striker has reacted with immense pride, while being congratulated by Craig Gardner, Brown Ideye and Ben Foster.

Saido Berahino has reacted with immense pride and a hint of disbelief after being called up to his first England squad by national boss Roy Hodgson.

West Brom striker Berahino joins Rickie Lambert, Danny Welbeck and captain Wayne Rooney in Hodgson's latest Three Lions squad.

If he gets game time - as a starter or a substitute - the 21-year-old could face either Slovenia, in a Euro 2016 qualifier, or Scotland, in a friendly.

And the Baggies forward says he 'can't believe how far' he's come, after reacting to the call-up on Twitter.

Berahino is joined by West Brom team-mate Ben Foster, a long-time member of the English national squad.

The goalkeeper was one of those to congratulate the young striker for his achievement on social media, praising a 'fully deserved' call-up.

Midfielder Craig Gardner also praised Berahino, saying he was 'buzzing' for the West Brom man.

And Brown Ideye, who isn't faring anywhere near as well as Berahino in front of goal since moving to the Hawthorns in the summer, also congratulated the 21-year-old.
