Swansea City and Arsenal go head-to-head at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday with just two places and two points separating them in the Premier League table.
The Gunners let a three-goal lead slip against Anderlecht in the Champions League this week and they will want to recover as soon as possible, which will not be good news for Garry Monk’s side. That said, Swansea are no pushover these days and they will know that a win will see them leapfrog Arsenal in the table.
It could end up being a straight shoot-out between Alexis Sancez – who already has 11 goals this season – and Wilfried Bony – who has four goals in his last four league matches.
Swansea injury concerns: Dwight Tiendalli is fighting to overcome a groin injury. Jazz Richards is also nursing a knock while Jordi Amat is building up his match fitness.
Swansea absences: Leon Britton is a long-term absentee with a knee injury while Jonjo Shelvey is suspended until November 22.
Arsenal injury concerns: David Ospina is nursing a thigh injury but has a good chance of featuring in the match-day squad. Jack Wilshere is currently ill but should play while Mikel Arteta has a hamstring injury but has a 75 per cent chance of featuring.
Arsenal absences: Laurent Koscielny, Mathieu Debuchy and Mesut Ozil are all out injured while Serge Gnabry lacks match fitness.
Predicted starting line-ups:
Swansea – Fabianski, Rangel, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor, Carroll, Ki Sung-yueng, Routledge, Sigurdsson, Montero, Bony
Arsenal – Szczesny, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Chambers, Gibbs, Ramsey, Flamini, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla, Welbeck, Alexis
