Adam Lallana and Gareth Bale had a reunion on Tuesday evening when Liverpool faced Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Lallana started the Group B game for Liverpool, while Bale replaced James Rodriguez just past the hour mark for Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The duo played together for Southampton when they were young, and it seems that they still have a good relationship.
After full time on Tuesday, Liverpool midfielder Lallana and Madrid winger Bale was caught on camera speaking to each other and exchanging pleasantries (see pictures above and below).
Unfortunately for England international Lallana, Liverpool failed to win. A first-half goal from Karim Benzema proved to be the difference between the two sides in the Spanish capital.
Madrid are currently at the top of Group B with 12 points from four matches, while Liverpool are third with three points. FC Basel are second in the group with six points, while Ludogorets Razgrad are fourth with three.
