New Dragon Age Inquisition trailer talks about story and choice

The consequences of your character's race, class, and gender, along with who you align yourself with are talked about in the new video.

Another trailer here, for another upcoming game. This time it's Dragon Age Inquisition's turn again, and in the latest video it's all about 'choice and consequence'. Spoiler warning - don't read on or watch the vid if you want to save yourself for the game's release.

The gameplay video is the last in the series of gameplay videos, so the narrator says. Story and choice are the focus here as we're shown many of the game's locations and factions that span the world of Thedas.

How you create your character will be the first of the choices you'll make which will carry consequence. How people react and treat you in the game will sometimes depend on your gender, race, and class. Gender affects your romance options, whilst choosing to play as an Elf or Qunari may see you treated poorly in certain areas.

Choices made when talking to your followers can open up further quest lines, but on the downside you could end up causing a follower to leave your party forever, should you happen to say or do things they disapprove of.

The new video also touches on political consequences too. And if you're looking to buy the game when it comes out, you'll want to head on over to the Dragon Age Keep to tinker with your world state beforehand.

Check out the new gameplay video below.
