Steve McClaren's side beat Chris Powell's men 3-2 at Pride Park.

Jordon Ibe, Jack Butland and George Thorne celebrated on Twitter after Derby beat Huddersfield 3-2 at Pride Park on Tuesday night.

The result end Huddersfield's strong run of form and takes the Rams to fourth in the Championship table - just one point off top.

And Derby boss Steve McClaren was, naturally, pleased with his side's win after a 'difficult game.'

"It was a good reaction after Saturday at Brentford. It was a difficult game for us, a dangerous game for us given the way they play," he told BBC Sport after the game.

"We expected an open game and that's what we got. There were chances at both ends and it never felt like the game was won.

"Jack Butland made some good saves and Cyrus Christie made a superb block and then they scored right at the end, so it was fortunate for us that we had that two-goal cushion."

County's players also took to Twitter to share their views after the game.

Liverpool loanee Ibe, who scored during the 3-2 win, was one, alongside Stoke loanee Butland. Thorne was next, while substitute goalkeeper Kelle Roos also tweeted.
