Leeds United and Charlton Athletic shared a 2-2 draw at Elland Road last night.
Leeds United managed to secure their first point under the reign of Neil Redfearn as permanent head coach following the 2-2 draw against Charlton Athletic last night.
Two goals from Alex Mowatt were enough to help the Whites grab a point although Redfearn won’t be happy with the way his team gave away a lead twice, as Charlton came back into the game to prevent three points.
There were positive signs for Leeds with Liam Cooper impressing in the back four in the absence of Jason Pearce and the team having 18 shots throughout the game, which suggests a free flowing attacking game.
Next up for Leeds is a home game against Championship strugglers Blackpool and that presents a great opportunity for the side to register three points and put on a good show for a home side which has been loyal and patient so far throughout the season.
