Fulham forward Matt Smith has congratulated Leeds United midfielder Alex Mowatt on his heroics against Charlton Athletic on Tuesday.
Mowatt scored both goals in Leeds’s 2-2 draw with Charlton at Elland Road in the Championship.
The 19-year-old scored his first goal four minutes into the second half with a well-crafted left-footed shot. The highly-rated England Under-19 midfielder found the target again midway through the second half from 20 yards.
Mowatt was Leeds’s best player against Charlton, and former Whites star Smith took to social networking site Twitter to acknowledge his performance.

Smith left Leeds for Fulham on transfer deadline day, but so far he has struggled to make a huge impact at Craven Cottage.
Fulham are currently 21st in the Championship table with 15 points from as many matches, while Leeds are 17th with 17 points from 16 games.
