Bolton Wanderers fans took to Twitter on Tuesday night to react to Chung-Yong Lee's performance in the 3-0 home win over Cardiff City.

Neil Lennon earned his third win in five matches as Bolton Wanderers manager on Tuesday night, as Liam Feeney’s first two goals for the Trotters saw the club dispatch Cardiff City 3-0 at home.

The ex-Millwall winger swept in Chung-Yong Lee's cross after nine minutes to score for the first time since August 2013, before Darren Pratley fed him to add a second before the beak.

Vice-captain Matt Mills then added a third in the 75th-minute, prompting manager Lennon to hail the performance at the final whistle as the best of his reign thus far.

It's the best we've played since I've been here against a very good side with a good manager,’ he was quoted on the BBC.

‘There was a good intensity and tempo to our play and real quality in the final third. We finished the game strongly which pleased me as well, so our fitness levels are improving.

‘I think I've got some good footballers here and they've shown that tonight. Now, that's a benchmark. We can't keep going win, loss, win, loss, win and then lose on Friday. We've set a good standard now.’

One of those footballers is undoubtedly winger Lee, who has been in fine form since the former Celtic boss took over from Dougie Freedman in mid-October.

The South Korea international, dubbed “Chungy”, might not have gotten on the scoresheet on the night, but he was certainly among the standout performers, with many fans moved to hail his contribution towards another three points.
