Leeds United striker Billy Sharp appears to be edging closer to full fitness.
Billy Sharp says that he is feeling stronger every day after undergoing another tough rehab session this afternoon.
The Leeds United striker has missed the last couple of weeks' worth of action with injury, but he is edging closer to a return.
He says that he cannot wait to get back out on the pitch and it seems that his latest recovery session went well.
Sharp provided an update on his progress on social media site Twitter, which the posts displayed below.
The striker has made a slow start to his career at Elland Road, scoring just once in his first nine league appearances for the club.
It was expected that he could be the man to fire Leeds to success this season, given his previous record in the second-tier, but he will need to improve his performance levels when he does get back on the pitch.
At the moment Mirco Antenucci and Souleymane Doukara have carried the most goal-threat of the side's current strike-force but the Whites will be hoping that Sharp can add to their attacking quality.
When he does get back to full fitness he will be playing for a side who are low on confidence, after a poor run of form.
Leeds have not won any of their last eight fixtures, but there is hope that Neil Redfearn can turn things around.
To do so he will need all the quality in the Whites' squad available to him and Sharp's return should aid his chances of returning the side to winning ways, so this positive update should be good news for the manager.
