WWE pulled the UK release of the WWE Network with no explanation.
Wrestling fans around the world have been eagerly awaiting the release of WWE Network in their respective countries. Last night at 8pm, UK fans were finally getting their chance.
Unfortunately WWE made an announcement on Facebook 15 mins before the Network was to go live.
Since this announcement there has not been any further explanation as to why the Network was pulled from the UK, leaving British fans livid.

The timing of this could not be worse for WWE as they start their UK tour tomorrow (05th November) in London. No doubt they will not be performing their usual Network selling segments or they will be seriously booed, something which will likely happen anyway.
Whilst WWE have given no excuse for their actions the rumour mill is in full flow. Many UK fans feel that WWE just don't care about the UK fans but we certainly feel that there is something more tangible going on behind the scenes. The launch of WWE Network in the UK will likely mean huge losses for Sky who currently show all WWE Pay Per Views on their Box Office as well as showing Raw, Smackdown and Superstars on Sky Sports. It doesn't take a huge stretch of the imagination to work out that Sky would take issue to this loss of revenue and perhaps block the launch of the Network.
This is, of course, pure speculation until official announcements are made but we are not alone in this train of thought with many UK fans taking to Facebook and Twitter to express this very belief.
We sincerely hope that this can be resolved shortly and that the UK Fans can finally gain access to the Network.
We will of course keep you updated as soon as any further details are released.
