Arsenal star focused ahead of important Champions League clash

Midfielder Aaron Ramsey is focused for Arsenal’s clash with Anderlecht.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey took to social networking site Facebook in order to share his thoughts with fans ahead of the Champions League clash with Anderlecht.

The Welsh international wrote: “Not sure about my facials but very focused on a big game tomorrow, I'm sure it will be a great atmosphere... can't wait!!!”

Ramsey has had a mixed campaign so far for the Gunners this season, appearing in nine Premier League matches and finding the net twice.

In Europe it hasn’t really happened for the 23-year-old as he disappointed in the 2-0 defeat against Borussia Dortmund and then missed the tie at home to Galatasary.

Tomorrow’s match however is a good opportunity for Arsene Wenger’s side to get among the goals and really put in a 90-minute performance for the supporters.

Belgian outfit Anderlecht come into the game needing a win to have any real possibility of qualifying for the knockout stage and an open game could be in store.

Ramsey started the 3-0 victory over Premier League strugglers Burnley from the bench but his introduction with 27 minutes remaining gave his side a huge lift and an extra attacking presence.

Replacing the more defensive-minded Arteta, the former Cardiff City youngster had three shots, created two chances and embarked on two successful dribbles.

He looked in extremely focused mood in training and the visit of Anderlecht could be the match where his season really starts to take off.
