Tottenham Hotspur's Ryan Mason has praised the form of Harry Kane, saying that the young striker is 'on-fire' at the moment.
Kane came off the substitutes' bench at the weekend to score the winner against Aston Villa.
It was his eighth goal of the season already and Mason feels that it was inevitable that the striker would score after entering the action.
"Harry is on fire at the minute and it was written in the stars for him to score," he said to the club's official site.
Kane's strike provided Tottenham with a very important three points, which has pushed them back up the table again.
The side had looked to be heading towards another deflating defeat, after falling 1-0 down in the first-half, but Nacer Chadli's strike and Kane's free-kick turned things around.
It means that Spurs are now only three points off the top-four, despite not getting out of first-gear over the campaign so far and they will be determined to build on this result.
Kane, too, will be hoping to get his chance. His goalscoring form has been good, but Mauricio Pochettino is still yet to start him in the Premier League.
It appears that he will be in-line to hold down the position up-front from now on, though, and Mason clearly believes that this is a good idea.
Mason, himself, is a player who is enjoying a brilliant breakthrough season at the age of 23.
It seemed that the central-midfielder may have been heading towards the exit at White Hart Lane, but Pochettino's faith in him has been rewarded and he looks to be a key member of the side's first-team line-up now.
