Could a suspension for Giuseppe Bellusci be a positive for Leeds at the weekend?
Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci faces a one game suspension, having picked up his fifth booking of the season.
Bellusci picked up the yellow card conceding a penalty against Charlton Athletic, blowing Leeds' advantage with the game going onto end 2-2.
The fact he will miss the next match against relegation battler Blackpool could be a relief, with his error-prone defending costing Leeds over the past two matches in particular.
The summer signing may be capable of the sublime in terms of scoring goals, but he has moments where his defending is simply not good enough.
The summer signing now has become one of only five defenders in the Championship to concede two penalties this season, but crucially, has done so in the fewest number of games.

Jason Pearce returns from his suspension, against Blackpool, and Liam Cooper did enough against Charlton to show Leeds don't need to be concerned about Bellusci missing out.
The centre-back's performances have dipped over the last two games, and it is fair to wonder if the FA investigation into comments he made to Norwich's Cameron Jerome is proving a distraction.
If that is the case, then a game out of the firing line ahead of the international break will do him good, and potentially Leeds too.
