Activision and Sledgehammer Games latest addition to the Call of Duty franchise will see it's DLC packs arrive next year.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare arrived in the hands of many yesterday, in the form of the 'Day Zero Edition' for those that pre-ordered the game. Advanced Warfare is available worldwide to everyone else today, and in a press release Activision have announced details on the upcoming DLC.

The first DLC for Advanced Warfare will be available in 2015, and those who buy the Season Pass will receive all the DLC as and when it's released. Buying the Season Pass also grants instant access to the Atlas Gorge multiplayer map, which is a remake of the Pipeline map from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

The four upcoming Advanced Warfare DLC packs are named Havoc, Ascendance, Supremacy, and Reckoning. The DLC will arrive on Xbox 360 and Xbox One first, with the PlayStation consoles and PC receiving them at a later date.
