Bernabeu Inside

Here is the Liverpool team to take on Real Madrid in the Champions League this evening?

Real Madrid: Casillas; Arbeloa, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo; Modric, Kroos; Rodriquez, Isco, Ronaldo; Benzema

Subs: Navas, Pepe, Bale, Chicharito, Nacho, Medran, Torro

Liverpool: Mignolet, Manquillo, Toure, Skrtel, Moreno, Lucas, Can, Allen, Lallana, Markovic, Borini

Subs: Jones, Johnson, Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho, Sterling, Balotelli

Liverpool have it all to do this evening in the Champions League game at Real Madrid.

Brendan Rodgers will be hoping his team can produce a much better performance than in the 3-0 defeat at Anfield in the last round of European games.

Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, who got a brace, were enough to give Real Madrid a dominant position in the group as Liverpool have now lost back-to-back games.

The Reds are on the same number of points as Ludogorets and FC Basel so it’s a battle for second place with the current European champions looking set to win the group and guarantee themselves a slightly easier draw in the last 16.

The pre-match build up centred around team selection but Rodgers will be aware that his team still have a great chance of making it out of Group B.
