Chadli on the three areas he feels Tottenham are improving

Tottenham Hotspur star Nacer Chadli feels the side are improving in three key areas.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nacer Chadli has suggested that the team have improved in three ways over the course of the season.

Spurs are preparing for a Europa League game against Asteras in the Europa League after a dramatic late winner in the match against Aston Villa.

Harry Kane came off the bench to score a free kick and the Belgian has been positive about the way the side is progressing and moving forward.

“We are definitely more compact and stronger and think we create chances as well in every game,” said the Tottenham star.

One of Tottenham’s main strengths is the number of central midfield options that Mauricio Pochettino has.

That allows the boss to setup the side to play compact through the middle and become difficult to break down in key games.

The strength is also provided in the middle of the team but has been, and needs to be, evident all over the team against sides that will look to bully Tottenham physically.

As for the creativity, it also comes from different positions and different players.

Erik Lamela has been in great form this season after Pochettino decided to make him a key part of the side and Christian Eriksen is among the Tottenham players who can turn games quickly in behind the main striker.

The core of the side provides that compactness and strength, which allows the creative players to be let off the hook and play expansive football as Spurs aim for the top four and some silverware domestically or on the European scene.
