Southampton's Ryan Bertrand says that Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic are two of the best players he has ever played with.
The duo, who both signed from the Saints in the summer, have made a huge impression at St. Mary's and Bertrand believes they are two of the best players he has ever played alongside.
It is quite a complement from the defender, as he is currently on loan from Chelsea, who have one of the most talented squads in the country.
"They're very good - right up there with the best of them," Bertrand said to the FourFourTwo. "Some people might not have known how well they were both doing in Holland, but their records were fantastic. It's obviously great for us that they've been able to repeat those performances - maybe even do better - in the Premier League."
"Other people may be surprised by how well they're doing, but I see it every day and I'm certain there's a lot more to come. They'll definitely be able to maintain what they're doing. What's happening is not a fluke - if you saw the way we work every day [you'd see], and we're constantly trying to improve."
Tadic and Pelle have been a major reason behind Southampton's success so far this season and they will be looking to continue their fine form.
Tadic's creativity and Pelle's ruthlessness in-front of goal has been a potent combination and helped the Saints pose a major attacking threat.
Ronald Koeman's side are currently in second position in the Premier League and they are showing no signs of their form tailing off.
It had led to talk of a potential top-four finish being within the realms of possibility for the South-Coast club and they will be looking to keep this momentum going in future weeks.
