Predicted Manchester City XI to play CSKA Moscow - Three changes for Pellegrini

Etihad Stadium

Here is the possible Manchester City team to play CSKA Moscow.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini will be hoping for a much more comprehensive performance from his side as they head into the home Champions League game against CSKA, with their European chances hanging by a thread.

City threw away a 2-0 lead when these teams met in Russia in a result, which has seen City slip behind Bayern Munich and AS Roma as the race for the last 16 of the competition hots up.

Pellegrini also won’t be pleased with the way his team played in the Manchester derby yesterday.

Despite the 1-0 win, City played the majority of the game against ten men and nearly lost their focus late in the second half of that game as Manchester United tried to get back into the match.

If City can somehow string some positive results together and make it through to the last 16 then anything can happen.

Here’s the possible side City could start the game with.

Manchester City: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy, Nasri, Toure, Fernando, Milner, Aguero, Dzeko
