Marcos Rojo’s father has commented on the Manchester United player’s injury with relatively good news for those fans fearing he could be out for up to six weeks as previously suggested.
In an interview with TN, Rojo senior is quoted as saying, “It is not too severe. He will miss two or three games.”
The United defender’s father went on to rule his son out of Argentina’s upcoming international games, but if his comments prove to be true, United fans will be relieved not to have lost yet another defender for far longer.
Rojo was taken off for United in the 56th minute of the match against Manchester City with a dislocated shoulder and Louis van Gaal’s side went on to lose the match 1-0.
But while recent reports suggested the Argentina international could be out until around Christmas, Rojo senior’s comments suggest he could miss just the matches against Crystal Palace, Arsenal and Hull City.
