Leeds United manager Neil Redfearn has suggested that star summer signing Adryan could feature in the clash against Charlton Athletic on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old Brazilian midfielder did not travel with the Whites squad to Wales on Saturday for the Championship game against Cardiff City.
Adryan, who joined Leeds on a season-long loan deal from Flamengo in the summer transfer window, was injured for the match which ended in a 3-1 defeat for the West Yorkshire outfit.
The youngster, though, is in line to feature against Charlton, although Billy Sharp, who moved to Leeds from Southampton in the summer, is likely to miss out.
Redfearn says Adryan "has a chance" tomorrow night but Billy Sharp may have to wait until Saturday to return from injury. #lufc— Leeds United FC (@LUFC) November 3, 2014
Redfearn has also said that Liam Cooper could step in for captain Jason Pearce, who is suspended for Tuesday’s Championship clash at Elland Road.
Redfearn says Cooper is likely to replace the suspended Pearce tomorrow night: "He's been patient & worked really hard. He's ready." #lufc— Leeds United FC (@LUFC) November 3, 2014
Leeds will head into Tuesday’s match placed 19th in the Championship table with 16 points from 15 matches, just four points above the relegation zone.
