Stokes wants Rangers back
Celtic striker Anthony Stokes says that he wants Rangers back in the top-flight.
The Bhoys hit-man admits that he has missed the derbies since Ally McCoist's side have not been in the Scottish Premiership and he wants them back in the top division soon.
"Everyone misses the rivalry," he told the Daily Star.
"When Rangers are back in the top flight it will bring more competition and will be better for all the clubs, not just ourselves."
Van Dijk on derby
Celtic's cup draw against Rangers appears to have excited the club's defender Virgil Van Dijk.
The Old-Firm derby has not happened since the Light Blues were forced to move down the leagues, but they are due to face each-other in the Scottish League Cup semi-final soon and Van Dijk is already looking forward to the clash.
“I have heard a lot of stories about the game. It is something very special – even more special than the Champions League nights," he said to the Daily Record. "So it is going to be amazing."
“I’ve heard the whole stadium goes mental."
Robinson backs experience
Rangers goalkeeper Lee Robinson believes that the experience that the club have can help them in the Old-Firm derby.
The Light Blues have the likes of Kenny Miller, Kris Boyd and Steven Smith who have all played against Celtic before and Robinson thinks this should help them.
"We have many players who have been involved in the Old Firm game in the past and that will certainly help us in the League Cup semi-final," he said to the Scottish Evening Times.
