Harry Kane was Tottenham Hotspur's hero at the weekend, and Nacer Chadli believes that the striker has all the ability to play for England.
Kane came off the substitutes' bench to make a huge impact against Aston Villa, scoring the winner late on to help his side to the three points.
It was his first Premier League goal of the season, but his eighth in all competitions, and this goalscoring form has clearly impressed Chadli.
The Belgian midfielder sees no reason that Kane should not be able to represent England, as he has all the talent to go to the very top.
"Why not?," he replied when asked whether Kane was ready for an England call-up, according to ITV. "It is up to him and the manager of the national team. He has a lot of quality and he can have some impact in the game."
Kane may have won over his teammates, but it seems that he still has some way to go before he convinces Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentine boss has still not started him in a Premier League game this season, despite his great record at hitting the back of the net in cup competitions.
It comes as a surprise given the club's current attackers' lack of form. Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor have continued to struggle for goals for some time now, and Kane looks the obvious pick.
It seems that he may be given a run in the team after his winning goal yesterday, though, and if Chadli obviously believes that he can also catch the eye of England manager Roy Hodgson.
