An automated e-mail reply from the Bank of America account of the employee yesterday allegedly said he was out of the office 'indefinitely' and recommended contacting someone who’s not 'an insane psychopath'.

Rurik George Caton Jutting, a former Bank of America employee, was charged with the murder of two women in a Hong Kong apartment.

Bloomberg News reports that Jutting, 29, is accused of killing Sumarti Ningsih on October 27 and an unidentified female on November 1, according to a charge sheet read out in Hong Kong’s Eastern Magistrates’ court today.

Escorted by three police officers, the U.K. national appeared in court wearing dark-rimmed glasses and a black shirt. He said he understood the charges he was facing, and will be remanded in custody. The case was adjourned until November 10.
