Manchester United took on Manchester City in the Manchester derby yesterday, and came away from The Etihad empty handed despite a spirited ten man performance.
A red card later branded 'stupid' by the United boss Louis van Gaal from Chris Smalling saw United play out the majority of the game with just ten men.
But they worked hard and in the end were unfortunate not to get something from the game - with two great saves from Joe Hart preventing both Angel Di Maria and Robin van Persie from rescuing a point while Wayne Rooney should have shot after a fantastic mazy run rolled back the years.
If they had scored that equaliser there would have likely been plenty more of a reaction from the players on social media, but as you would expect the response has been almost mute.
Marcos Rojo gave an update on his horrific looking shoulder injury, playing down its severity.
While the usual suspects such as Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Luke Shaw and David De Gea were quiet.
But Daley Blind took to Twitter to send a message to United fans and followers. The Dutchman was excellent yesterday, as he continues to excel way above his £13.8 million price-tag.
And he shared this Tweet with the Manchester United faithful late last night after a disappointing, but strangely encouraging day at the office.
