A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
Federico Fazio has revealed that he’s keen to bring his aggressive determination into the Tottenham Hotspur defence.
Fazio’s Premier League season hasn’t gone to plan, as he was sent off against Manchester City on debut.
“I like to be hard and strong. At Sevilla I was the captain, so I am a leader too. This is the way I like to play,” he said.
Harry Kane says a fast start is important in the Premier League game against Aston Villa later today.
Kane has stressed the importance of taking control of the game early, preferably with an early strike.
“We have to start fast, get on the ball, get comfortable, try to put them on the back foot, try to score first and look to build from there,” he told the Tottenham website.
Tottenham have reportedly entered the race to sign FC Porto star Yacine Brahimi.
The Algerian midfielder is also apparently being tracked by PSG and AS Napoli.
The Star suggests his pace and fitness make him ideal for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
