Queens Park Rangers officials seem happy with the team’s display against Chelsea on Saturday and are confident of survival in the Premier League.

Queens Park Rangers vice-chairman Amit Bhatia has praised the team for their performances over the last three Premier League matches.

The London club have lost two of their last three games, winning the other one. A narrow 3-2 defeat to Liverpool at Loftus Road was followed by a 2-0 home win against Aston Villa, before Chelsea edged past Harry Redknapp’s side 2-1 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Against both Liverpool and Chelsea, QPR gave a strong and encouraging performance, and were perhaps unlucky not to pick up a point from each game.

Bhatia seems to be happy with the way the players have gone about their business in the last three matches and appears confident of maintaining the Premier League status for next season.

QPR chairman Tony Fernandes was also pleased with the team’s performance against Chelsea, and said that he is proud of the club’s fans.

QPR are currently second from bottom in the Premier League table with seven points from 10 matches. Rangers are next in action next weekend when they host defending English champions Manchester City at Loftus Road.
