Manchester United have plenty of players who will be appearing in their first Manchester derby today including £16 million defender Marcos Rojo. But while it will be his first derby, he will certainly know a few of the City players very well.
Three of the players likely to feature for City today were in the World cup squad for Argentina this summer gone, alongside Rojo.
Sergio Aguero, Martin Demichelis and Pablo Zabaleta are the trio concerned - the latter two Rojo was in particular friendly with. He had to be, as they were three of the starting members of an Argentina back-line in the final against Germany.
Rojo and Zabaleta filled the full-back roles while Demichelis played at the heart of the defence alongside Ezequiel Garay - a position Rojo will fulfil for Manchester United today.
So while he will be more concerned with stopping Aguero, he will also have to say the odd hello to familiar faces when City get set pieces in the United half this afternoon.
Here is a mini-gallery celebrating the good relationship between this Argentine defensive trio, who will go at it in Manchester today...
