Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie Redknapp has been singing the praises of Harry Kane.
The England Under-21 international was the match-winner for Spurs against 10-man Aston Villa on Sunday.
Kane came on as a substitute just before the hour mark at Villa and scored the goal in the 90th minute with a deflected free kick that made it 2-1 to Spurs.
The victory in the Premier League encounter came as a huge respite to Tottenham, leading Redknapp to hail his English compatriot.
‘He is an exceptional talent’, Redknapp told Sky Sports. ‘I will be amazed if he doesn’t start next week. He has got to start.
‘He made a real difference. Until he came on, the game was slipping away from Totteham even with 10 men... He was exceptional, very very impressive’.

Kane has been among the goals in recent weeks, finding the target in the Europa League and the League Cup.
With Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado both struggling for goals, Kane has been backed by many fans and football pundits to be given more chances in the Premier League.
Kane has less experience than Adebayor and Soldado and has yet to truly prove himself, but of the three strikers, he is the most reliable at the moment.
