Each week we'll bring you images from a different game we've been playing, captured by us as we play.
It's Sunday, a day of rest for many. Whether you're chilling out on the couch in front of whatever offerings the TV is bringing you, still in bed with a hangover, or just stood in the middle of a room staring at a wall, you owe it to yourself to relax. Sunday Screenshots is a new weekly series we're bringing you that's all about relaxing, whilst gazing at images plucked directly from video games. Minimum reading, maximum eye-candy. All the images will be captured by us, whether that's a good or bad thing, you decide.
This week it's all about Naughty Dog's The Last of Us, a highly-praised game that I've only just begun to experience for the first time over the past seven days, since getting a PS4. I spoke about my initial take on the game last weekend, so here are a few screenshots I've captured with the game's photo mode, showing you my adventure so far. It goes without saying that these images contain some spoilers, so be warned, and enjoy. Click on the images to see much larger versions.
I've started to discover that planning your route ahead of time is a good idea in The Last of Us - a rooftop view is a good way to do it.
I started to get all 'artsy' after a while.
A classic sleeper hold on one of the infected here, complete with red filter for added 'drama'.
Something you don't see in this image is the fact there are about 4 or 5 more infected behind Joel. You can get overrun pretty quickly if you're not careful - I've discovered this over and over again.
And that's it. Those are all the screenshots we have to offer this week, or at least the ones we think are worth showing. Let us know what you think of them, and maybe even give us some suggestions of games you'd like us to play and take some screenshots of.
