Chelsea players react on social media to 2-1 win against QPR

Stamford Bridge

Chelsea players Cesc Fabregas, Didier Drogba and Oscar have reacted to the win against QPR yesterday.

Chelsea maintained their lead at the top of the Premier League table with a 2-1 victory against Queens Park Rangers yesterday.

Goals from Oscar and Eden Hazard were enough to get the Blues over the line ahead of the Manchester derby later today.

It wasn’t Chelsea’s best performance of the season but the side did enough to get over the winning line against an opponent that went to Stamford Bridge and made things difficult.

Focus for the blues now switches to the Champions League trip to Maribor before Jose Mourinho’s tactical skill will once again be tested when the side goes to Liverpool next weekend.

Wrapping up Champions League qualification for the last 16 against Maribor can allow Mourinho to make team changes and sub key players off before the Liverpool match, but the 2-1 win yesterday again showed that Chelsea have improved from last season in terms of matches against lower placed teams in the league.

Here’s what a selection of Chelsea fans had to say on social media after the result.

Very happy to score and help #Chelsea to win this battle! Muito feliz por fazer o gol hoje e ajudar nosso time a vencer! #Chelsea
