Chelsea continued their good start to the season this weekend with a 2-1 victory against local rivals QPR. Goals from Oscar, a sensational one to say the least, and Eden Hazard from the penalty spot.
Once again the assist tally went up for Cesc Fabregas.
He laid on the ball to Oscar to strike the opener, adding to his already impressive tally in the assist department.
The Chelsea midfield has certainly been the best in the league this season, but Oscar reserved special praise for the Spaniard after the game.
He told the Chelsea website:
"Cesc helps the team so much. Not just with the assists but in a game he helps everyone, with beautiful passes like the one for me in this game. He has come in this year and played so well and I like playing together with him."
High praise indeed.
Chelsea are revelling in the return of the former Arsenal captain to English soil after his Barcelona return turned sour this summer and every week Fabregas devalues the decision of Arsene Wenger not to bring him back to The Emirates despite having first-option.
But while he is at Chelsea the likes of Oscar, Hazard and Diego Costa will happily continue to thrive with his support.
