Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Sanchez performance v Burnley: 'Better than Hazard'

The Chilean scored a brace for the Gunners against the Clarets on Saturday afternoon.

Alexis Sanchez was on fire once again for Arsenal on Saturday afternoon, as he scored twice to help lift his side back into the top four of the Premier League.

Burnley stood in the way at the Emirates Stadium - and kept a clean sheet for 70 minutes.

But Sanchez was on hand to score twice either side of a Calum Chambers goal, in the end giving the Gunners a 3-0 win against the top flight's bottom side.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was understandably impressed with the Chilean, telling the BBC: "It was a top performance from Alexis Sanchez. His quality is exceptional, he takes responsibility and goes at people. He fights, he can score, that is what you want from great players."

And Arsenal fans need no second chance to sing the 25-year-old's praises.

A large focus of their attentions, however, seemed to morph into a post-game debate on Twitter involving Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

Match of the Day asked fans who they thought is the better player and 64 per cent voted in favour of Sanchez.

On social media, meanwhile, Team Hazard is certainly backed by a huge portion of Chelsea fans - but the Chilean's case was put forward by several Arsenal supporters after his Burnley brace.

Here are the best fan reactions on Twitter, although there is no doubting there will be disagreement from the Blues...
