Leeds United striker Steve Morison struggled to make an impact against Cardiff City away from home in the Championship on Saturday.

Steve Morison was one of the better players for Leeds United against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.

It was the 31-year-old’s first start for the West Yorkshire outfit in 18 months, and he gave a good account of himself in the Championship clash at Elland Road (click here to read more).

Wales international Morison retained his place in the Leeds starting line-up against Cardiff City on Saturday despite the return from suspension of Souleymane Doukara, as Brazilian youngster Adryan was injured.

How did he fare?

As the stats above show, Morison had a much better game against Wolves than against Cardiff.

Morison was one of the worst Leeds players on the pitch at the Cardiff City Stadium in the 3-1 defeat (click here to read more), and he will be very disappointed with his performance.

With Adryan expected to recover from his injury and start against Charlton Athletic at Elland Road on Tuesday (click here to read more), Morison could now be the one to drop to the substitutes’ bench.
