Why Adryan is not in Leeds United team for Championship clash v Cardiff City

Leeds United are without Brazilian youngster Adryan for today’s Championship clash against Cardiff City away from home.

The Championship clash against Cardiff City will be Neil Redfearn’s first game in charge of Leeds United as the full-time manager.

Just minutes before the line-up was announced earlier this afternoon, it was confirmed on Leeds’s official Twitter page that the 49-year-old has been appointed as the manager of the Whites.

Much is expected of this young and talented Leeds team under Redfearn, but the Englishman has been unable to name Adryan for today's match at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Because Adryan is injured.

The Brazilian attacking midfielder has not even travelled with the Leeds squad to Cardiff for today’s match at the Cardiff City Stadium.

It will be tough for Leeds to pick up even a point against Cardiff away from home this afternoon, and with talented playmaker Adryan missing, it will be even more difficult.

However, the West Yorkshire club do have other quality players who can step up and get the better of Cardiff on their own turf.
