Oscar and Eden Hazard scored for Chelsea this afternoon.
Chelsea have defeated QPR 2-1 in their local derby this afternoon.
Chelsea opened the scoring in the first-half, with perhaps one of the early contenders for goal of the season. Good build-up play from Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas saw the Spaniard role the ball into the path of Oscar on the right. The Brazilian then struck the ball, with pure Samba style, on the outside of his right boot beyond QPR stopper Rob Green.
Chelsea were the better team for much of the game but the arrival of Bobby Zamora seemed to shake up the Chelsea defence in the second half. Eventually it told. A sweeping counter attack saw Thibaut Courtois punch a cross-shot into the path of Leroy Fer on the edge of the box. The Dutchman's shot was tame, but Charlie Austin nonchalantly tucked the ball away with a sweet back-heel for 1-1.
However they were not behind for long. Eden Hazard stormed into the box and Eduardo Vargas bundled into him to concede a penalty. Hazard dusted himself off before calmly slotting in the winner.
