A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
Real Madrid have reportedly made Hugo Lloris their number one target to replace Iker Casillas.
The Express claims the Spanish club are considering a £20 million offer for the player.
However, Lloris has become one of Tottenham’s most consistent and most valuable players.
Mauricio Pochettino says he wants to see improvements from his side against Aston Villa tomorrow.
Spurs were heavily criticised early last week after losing to Newcastle United at White Hart Lane.
“We played well for the first 45 minutes against Newcastle but we had a lack of concentration - It's important that the players realise the situation and what we need to improve,” said the boss.
Former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has revealed that he nearly signed Eden Hazard when he was at the North London club.
The former Lille star eventually moved to West London to link up with Chelsea, where he has become one of the best players in the world.
“I tried to get Hazard at Tottenham. I spent four hours with Hazard in a hotel talking to him about coming to Tottenham and he wouldn’t come,” said Redknapp.
