Southampton fans react to Wanyama's display against Hull - "Immense!"

Southampton continued their fine form with a 1-0 win over Hull City today, as Victor Wanyama scored a stunning long range goal.

Southampton may have suffered a tough summer with the departures of manager Mauricio Pochettino and star players Calum Chambers, Dejan Lovren, Luke Shaw, Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert, but they've shown that they can still succeed without them.

New manager Ronald Koeman has overseen a remarkable start to the season, with new signings such as Toby Alderweireld, Ryan Bertrand, Dusan Tadic and Graziano Pelle impressing so far as the Saints racked up six wins from the first nine games.

Today, they travelled to Humberside to face Hull City at the KC Stadium, and came away with another impressive win, seeing off the Tigers in a 1-0 victory.

The goal came after just three minutes, with midfielder Victor Wanyama latching onto Eldin Jakupovic's poor clearance to smash home a superb 40-yards strike.

The Kenyan midfielder as recently lost his place in the side to Jack Cork, and that led to rumours of a January move to Arsenal.

Yet today, Southampton fans were full of praise for the former Celtic man, with some even saying it was his best display for the club since his arrival last summer.

Here are some reaction from Southampton fans on Twitter to Wanyama's display.
