England international forward Theo Walcott made his first competitive appearance for Arsenal since January against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott made his long-awaited comeback on Saturday when he came on as a substitute against Burnley.

The England international replaced Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the 80th minute of the Premier League encounter at the Emirates Stadium.

The 25-year-old had not played a competitive match since January 4, when he sustained a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee during a FA Cup match against Tottenham Hotspur.

On Saturday, Walcott finally made his comeback from injury and was given a hero’s welcome by the Arsenal fans.
