CONFIRMED: Leeds United line-up v Cardiff City - Who makes Redfearn's first XI?

Here is the Leeds United side to play Cardiff City this afternoon.

Leeds United: Silvestri, Berardi, Bellusci, Pearce, Warnock, Bianchi, Cook, Mowatt, Doukara, Antenucci, Morison

Subs: S Taylor, Byram, Cooper, Tonge, Sloth, Dawson, Montenegro

Leeds United head into the game against Cardiff this afternoon after a long run without a win.

Neil Redfearn takes charge of the first team, with the last time Leeds won a game when he was in caretaker charge before Darko Milanic was appointed at Elland Road.

Three points for Leeds will be difficult against a determined Cardiff team, but it’s important to get the team moving in the right direction and up the Championship table.

Redfearn is likely to get his side playing expansive and exciting football, as Leeds look to play the brand which wasn’t possible during the 32 days Milanic was in charge.

It’s the appointment that several have said Leeds should have made in the first place and a win for Redfearn will ease pressure on him and the club, proving Massimo Cellino has finally made the right decision over his head coach.
