Arsenal youngster Isaac Hayden has revealed his inspiration, and it is a familiar one for the fans.
On Saturday evening, the 19-year-old central defender took to social networking site Twitter to proclaim Patrick Vieira as his role model.
Vieira is a true footballing legend and one of the greatest players of all time. The former France international midfielder was on the books of Arsenal from 1996 until 2005 and won multiple honours with the Gunners.
During his time at Highbury, Vieira established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, and clinched the Premier League three times and the FA Cup on four occasions.
The 38-year-old achieved huge success with France as well, winning the World Cup in 1998 and the European Championship in 2000.
Hayden, who is just 19 years of age, couldn’t have chosen a better role model.
