Arsenal attacker Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been singing the praises of teammate Alexis Sanchez.
The 25-year-old former Udinese star has been the best player for Arsenal so far this season, having scored five goals and created 18 chances in eight Premier League appearances.
Sanchez also had a pass accuracy of 78% and a shot accuracy of 67%, and has shown his ability to play anywhere in attack.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is delighted to be playing alongside a truly exciting footballer and has now explained how he is learning from him.
‘It’s hard not to be able to learn from someone who’s been at the clubs that he has’, the 21-year-old told Arsenal’s official website. ‘Not just that - his ability on the ball is second to none and you can always pick up little things.
‘He’s an attacking player like I am and he goes past players like I try to. I can always learn from a player like him. The work he does up front is something that everyone can definitely learn from as well.
‘He’s been a great character in the dressing room. He doesn’t speak the best English just yet but he’s keen to learn and he wants to be involved and around everyone’.
Sanchez will be back in action for Arsenal later today, when the Gunners host Burnley at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League.
